She was married Feb. 3, 1831, at Marnorth, to Phillip Riley. They came to Canada in 1834 and two years after to Buffalo, N.Y., and one year after to Massilon, Ohio, and in 1855, to Marion, Iowa, where they continued to reside till the time of their death.
Phillip Riley, the husband, died March 27, 1891. They had eleven children. Two died in infancy. Edward died in Gladwater, Texas, Oct. 15, 1875. Four daughters are still living, Mrs. Ellen Needles, of Kenwood Park, Mrs. Hannah Bloom, of Marion, Mrs. Hariett Wheeler, in NEbraska, Mrs. Maretta Disbrom[sic], in Atlantic, Richard and James Riley in Marion, and Phillip in Cedar Rapids.
