Adam A. Billinger, 87, Hays Good Samaritan Center, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, at the nursing home. He was born Oct. 3, 1912, in Victoria to Michael and Mary (Goetz) Billinger.

He attended elementary school in Victoria and graduated from Hays High School. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.

Survivors include four brothers, Wendelin J. "Bill," Michael, Alvin and Robert, all of Hays; and two sisters, Margaret Beilman and Catherine Walters, both of Hays.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bernard, Peter and Joseph Billinger, and two sisters, Lee Ann Pfeifer and Rosemary Karlin.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Earl Befort officiating; burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Brock´s North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine. A parish vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Holy Family Elementary School or for Masses.
