Elizabeth was the daughter of Alexander Goss and Mary Miller. On 08 Nov 1881 she married Moritz Kaelin and they had at least three children: Joseph, Anton and Emma. Moritz died in 1899 and she never remarried. Elizabeth died of hypostatic pneumonia due to a fracture of her femur sustained in a fall. She was 83 years old.
