Funeral services for Leo Joseph Abraham, Jr. will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Minor Baslica of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches, LA with Father Ryan Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 pm on December 4, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA.
Leo Abraham, Jr., 65 years of age, passed away December 1, 2014. He was born March 6, 1949 to the late Leo Joseph Abraham, Sr. and Elma Clanan Abraham in Many, LA. He was a kind hearted and compassionate man who had a deep love for God and family. He was a patient and loving husband and father, and was always willing to help anyone in need. He never said no. He was always very respectful of everyone and had a very meek spirit. As stated previously, he loved God and his church, The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. There, he served as an Eucharistic Minister, sang in the choir, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was always willing to serve, and would help every Wednesday at the K.O.C. Hall with BINGO. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leo Joseph Abraham, Sr. and Elma Clanan Abraham.
