Helen L. Villanueva, loving wife and lovable aunt, died Sunday, November 16, 2014, in La Habra, CA.
She was born November 14, 1921, in Douglas, AZ, to James and Ana Maria Liakopulos.
She moved to Tucson, AZ, and married the love of her life, Liberto Villanueva.
She worked for the US Air Force and later the Red Cross.
With no children, she spoiled her sister's kids like a second mother. An artist, her paintings sold at local fairs. She found humor in everything and was a joy to be with.
When Bert died, she moved to CA, close to family. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, and their children.
Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2014, at Bring's Broadway Chapel, and graveside service to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
