Thomas Elmer Ramsden, a resident of B.C. for the past eight years and a staunch member of the First Baptist church, passed away in Nanaimo hospital Thursday afternoon, aged 77 years. Born in Kettleby, Ont., on January 5. 1879, Mr. Ramsden farmed for many years at Lousana, Alta., prior to coming to B.C. to reside with his niece, Mrs. P.F. Loucks of Wellington. Very fond of his church, he seldom missed attending both morning and evening services. A member of the Old Age Pensioners' Association, he leaves to mourn his passing a sister, Mrs. Chalmer Black at Kettleby, Ont., and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at two o'clock from the Westwood Chapel of Flowers. Interment will take place in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.
