RASSIE DUNCAN OF JASONVILLE DIES; ILL FOR 6 MONTHS
Rassie Raymond Duncan, 53, of Jasonville, an electrician for Maumee Collieries, died Tuesday night at 8:30 o'clock in the Freeman-Greene County Hospital in Linton. He had been ill for the past six months. Mr. Duncan formerly resided in Coal City and was born July 20, 1899, in Clay County, the son of Cora (Price) and Patrick Duncan. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Coal City, and the Independent Order of Red Men. His wife preceded him in death last May. Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Cora Duncan of Coal City; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Bridges of Jasonville; a sister, Mrs. Nova Cole of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three brothers, William and Joseph Duncan, both of Coal City, and Claude Duncan of Germfask, Mich., and a grandchild. The body was taken to Schoppenhorst Funeral Home in Clay City, pending arrangements.
