MARSHALL – Gladys "Jackie" Worley Goldsmith, 75, of Marshall, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the John F. Keever Solace Center.

Mrs. Goldsmith was born September 7, 1939 in Madison County. Jackie was a member of Walnut Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Evelyn Baker Worley; her husband, William "Bill" Whitt Goldsmith; sisters: Ruby W. Davis, Agnes W. Randall and Judy Worley; brothers: Rom, Alvin and Wade Worley.

Surviving are her sons: Daniel Goldsmith (Jackie) and Dennis Goldsmith (Sara); grandchildren: Danielle Freeman and William Whitt Goldsmith; sisters: Lula Sue Ramsey, Thelma Jean Gault and June Clark (Billy Joe); sister-in-laws: Betty Jo Treadway (David), Patsy Ann Anderson and Robbie Creson; brother-in-law, Ernest Goldsmith, Jr. (Barbara Sue); several nieces and nephews; special friends, Shirley and Jesse Messer, Amanda Goldsmith (Caregiver) and Randy Fowler.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2014 in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home with the Reverends Robert Hawkins, George Moore and Danny Little officiating. Burial will follow in the Goldsmith Family Cemetery on Sandy Bottom Road.
