Faye Satterfield, 86, of Norris City passed away at 12:14 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Ind. She was born November 3, 1927 in LaSalle County, the daughter of Charlie and Audrie (Pearce) Satterfield.
Faye was of General Baptist faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Rose Williams of Norris City; a son, Bill Satterfield of Norris City; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Thomas of Carmi; and her best friend, Lizzie.
Faye was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Mears and Aurdey Hedger and three brothers, Charles Leroy and Eugene Satterfield and Bill Gott.
Graveside funeral services and burial for Faye Satterfield, 86, of Norris City will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Plainview Cemetery near Norris City with Rev. Mike Buckman officiating.
Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
