William B. Miller, 74, of Toledo, died on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Center surrounded by his family. He was born on May 22, 1940 in Danville, Illinois to William and Betty (Clark) Miller.

Bill was very active in the community. He was a Rotarian since 1970, originally in Danville, IL and for many years in Sylvania, where he was a past president. Bill volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, the Sylvania Senior Center and the Metroparks. He was a talented bridge player and enjoyed music, especially jazz, and the arts. Bill also loved golf and was a former member of Valleywood Golf Club.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Queenen); daughter, Pamela (Will) Wannemacher; sons, David (Jill) Miller; and Eric (Amy) Miller; grandchildren, Madison, Jakob and Zachary Miller; and sister, Susan (Bob) Gregg. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Miller, parents, and brother, Richard.

Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. (just West of Corey Road) on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 2-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Olivet Lutheran Church 5840 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH. Private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
