Son of Charles Oscar and Mary Augusta Forslund Larson.

His father immigrated to the US from Sweden.

His sister was Arlene.

He first married Edythe Gertrude Jensen. He second married Dorothy Thompson.

Eldred attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and was an engineer for the telephone companies for many years.

For about three years Eldred and Edythe lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where their son Charles was born.

Eldred is buried with both of his wives in the Good Shepherd section of Forest Lawn.

Services Are on Wednesday for Eldred Larson.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, in the chapel of the First United Methodist Church of Omaha, 7020 Cass Street, for Eldred C. Larson. Eldred C. Larson was the husband of the former Edythe Jensen of this area.
Their children are Sigrid Festersen of Omaha, and Adm. Charles R. Larson, Annapolis, Maryland. They also have six grandchildren.

Funeral services for 76 year old Eldred C. Larson, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, were held this past week.
Mr. Larson died on Wednesday, August 24th.
Mr. Larson's son, Rear Admiral Charles R. Larson, was just recently moved from his command in the Mediterranean Sea area to the position of Superintendent of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland.
Mr. Larson is survived by his wife Dorothy Thompson Larson, a son Rear Admiral Charles Larson, his wife Sally and three granddaughters: Sigrid, Erica and Kirsten. Daughter Sigrid Festersen, her husband Paul and three grandchildren: Annaliese, Peter, and Else.
The families were formerly residents in the Washington Co area.
