Lois Mary (Phillips) Newcomb, age 66, Wausau, died December 15, 2014, at Mount View Care Center, Lake View Heights unit. She was born January 31, 1948, in Stevens Point, daughter of the late Cleland and Genevieve (Ostrowski) Phillips. She first married the late Thomas Urmanski in Wausau. They later divorced. On August 28, 1981, she was united in marriage to Ronald Newcomb in Wausau.

Lois graduated from Newman High School in 1966, and attended the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and playing cards with friends. She was a great cook and her family enjoyed all of her wonderful home cooked meals.

Survivors include her husband, Ron of Wausau; her children Gail (Dan) Jackson, Wausau, Matt (Michelle) Urmanski, Nicholasville, Kentucky, Kent (Heather) Urmanski, Wausau, Bob Urmanski, Green Bay and Kelly (Rob) Newcomb-Hoehn, Weston. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Brooke, Samantha, Gabrielle, Hannah, Brayden. Nicholas and Luciana, and her brother, David Phillips, Newark, California.
