Albert Grant Fisher Born March 14, 1863 at Munrol Center, Illinios. Moved to Hastings, Ne. at 18 years with his father in 1881 he & his father John moved to Moorefield, Ne. Frontier County took claim 3 miles east of Moorefield. Proved up on claim in 1886 Albert & father sold their claim to Westly & son Maurice Stepheson. Albert & father moved to Lake Arther, La. was busy farming rice, buying furs, fish from hunters & fishermen. Later had general grocery store at Lake Arther. Then moved to Gueydam,La. on a rice farm until moving to St Joseph Mo in Dec.1905. Oct. 1907 moved back to Moorefield until March 1,1908 moved 3 miles east of town on farm where Marie was born & Cora died Sept. 3, 1908. Took her to Hastings for burial Sept. 7 1908. Albert & children were batized Aug, 1911. Albert married Dora Armstrong from Hansen,Ne. Albert passed away Oct.,1934 buried by Dora at Hastings. Dora died Jan.22,1959 & was buried at Hansen. Cora's brother & wife took Marie to care for.
