My Mother
Carolyn worked at the broadview resturant located on pearl road in cleveland,ohio, she said i'm going to work long enough to buy the kids clothes for school. not only us but also her grandchildren(lol) at the resturant she was known as "carol" by the mailman, but the familt clled her "carrie". mom had 4 children.. shirleyann,arlene diane(me) andwarren jr, 13 grandchilren and 5 greatgrand chidren,after working 32 years at the resturant,when she retired,she joined a lot or clubs, she helped out at st.boniface where my son went to school, worked bingos on tuesday night i worked one tuesday and she worked the other tuesday..she went on mini day trips.mom love to write potery she wrote a pome for david(my son) when h was 21 days oldand strange enough she died may 21st 1989,,,,,here is the pome....ROCK A BY DAVEY,DAVEY IS SMALL IT WON'T BE LONG AND HE WILL BE TALL, ALTHOUGH HE'S A BABY AND PRETTY SOON HE'LL BE A MAN AND GO TO THE MOON.MOMMY LOVES DAVEY SO HONEST AND TRUE SO ALWAYS BE GOOD AND DON'T MAKE HER BLUE.AND WHEN HIS GRANDMA GETS OLD AND GRAY,HE WILL TAKE CARE OF HER THE REST OF HER DAYS.AND WILL BE SO HAPPY AND WE WILL BE GAY , AND WILL HAVE A PARTY EVERY "7 OF MAY".. and that is david'e birthday may 7.. she wrote a pome for me, right now i can't find it ,when i do i'l put it here...

Rock a bye, Davey, Davey is small. It won't be long and he will be tall. Although he's a baby and pretty soon he'll be a man and go to the moon. Mommy loves Davey, so honest and true, so always be good and don't make her blue. When his grandma gets old and grey, he will take care of her the rest of her days. And we will be so happy and we will be gay, and we will have a party every "7th of May."
