HOWARD CLINTON RINGER, 746 Guilford Ave., husband of the late Mrs. Ida Jane (Pearell) Ringer, died at Springfield State Hospital Sunday evening, aged 87 years. Born in Boonsboro, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary Ringer. He was a former City of Hagerstown employee.
He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Agatha Shaffer, Clifton Hgts, Pa.; Mrs. Dorothy Doub, and Mrs. Kathryn Wright, both of Baltimore; sons, Richard W. and Jack K., both of Hagerstown; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery; arrangements were by the Norment Funeral Home.
