Madelyn McNeely, 89, of Peru, passed away at 9:08 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015 at Blair Ridge Health Campus.
McNeely was born Sept. 23, 1925 in Peru, the daughter of Delbert Burgard and Esther (Brueneller) Burgard, both now deceased. A homemaker, she married Grover McNeely Jr. who passed in 2006. The couple raised two daughters, Jo McNeely of Peru and Judith Buzard of Arizona, who survive as well as two grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, two sisters preceded her in death.
A funeral is set for 11 a.m. at Thursday at Mt. Hope Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru.
