He retired as a master sergeant and medical service technician after 30 years in the Air Force. He was a Catholic and a lifetime member of the VFW in Melbourne.
Survivors include his wife, Joan M.; daughters Michelle Vivero of Houston, Mo, and Tracy Woodworth of Palm Bay; sons Michael of Westerville, Ohio, Doug Leon, Chris Leon and Doug Woodworth, all of Melbourne; a brother, Don of Trevor, Wis; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
