Mrs. Barry was a member of the Athens United Methodist Church, Petersburg Chapter 572 Order of the Eastern Star and the Caritas Rebekah Lodge in Jacksonville.
For twenty two years Mrs. Barry was the housekeeper for Dr. Tolbert F. Hill of Athens. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Edwin J. Rawlings and James A. Barry; three sisters; one brother; two grandsons and one granddaughter.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Edith M. Roloff of Edinburg( Memorial# 38669799);four sons; Edwin J.; Robert A.; and Robert E. Rawlings, all of Springfield, and Richard B. Rawlings of Lincoln; two step-daughters, Mrs. Helen Mathews, and Mrs. Ruth White, both of Jacksonville; one brother, Arthur Hicks of Jacksonville; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Marine, Mrs. Frances Halligan, Mrs. Nellie Mason and Mrs. Eileen Hacker, all of Jacksonville; six grandsons; six granddaughters; seven great-grandsons; seven great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.
services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 23 at Mott and Henning Funeral Home, Athens, the Rev. David Glahn and Rev. Cecil LeRoy Morris officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
