William C. White, son of the late William and Isobel White, nee McCrea.

Bill had been fighting cancer, and in hospice in his home.

Teacher at both Catholic and public schools. He began at St. Michael's in Old Town in 1958 and retired from Sullivan High School in 1994. He served as teacher, administrator, member of the Archdiocesan Interdisciplinary Comm. and head of a program at St. Viator High School in the 1980's. He was a volunteer with the Little Brothers starting in 1981 until health issues prevented him from further involvement. He was also involved in the Immaculate Conception parish as a member of the Pro Life Comm. and the Ministry of Care. In addition, he was a member of the service team of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Chicago. He also worked and volunteered at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls for many years.

Visitation Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, from 3 to 9 p.m.
Funeral, Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015: Prayers 9:15 a.m. at Kolbus-May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago to Immaculate Conception Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment will be held privately at St. Mary Cemetery, 87th Street & Hamlin Ave. Evergreen Park. Bill will be resting with his parents.
