Herbert Clay Scurlock was a biochemist who pioneered the application of radiation therapy for treatment of cancer. He also used x-ray to diagnose dental problems. Herbert Scurlock was a professor of physiological chemistry at Howard Herbert University. He was at the university for forty years.
