Mamie Tepiew, age 44 of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconins died Friday at St. Vincent Hospital of Green Bay, of complications following an illness of one year.

She was born on the Menominee Indian Reservation July 9, 1922 to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Okanoski.

She married William Tepiew on the Keshena Indian Reservation.

Surviving are two sons: James of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Lawrence of Milwaukee, WI; one daughter Marge of Milwaukee, WI and one sister Marie Price of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. John P. Baum at the Stoneman Funeral Home at 10 am Wednesday. Friends may call at the Stoneman Funeral Home after 3 pm Tuesday and the rosary will be said there at 8 pm Tuesday. Burial will be in the Schumacher Cemetery.

**July 2016~~Her obituary lists cemetery as Schumacher Cemetery, however, a findagrave.com volunteer Jennifer Kaser FAG #48725621, walked this entire cemetery and checked with the sexton, and could not locate burial in Schumacher Cemetery. It is possible that she is buried in St. Michael Cemetery of Keshena, WI
