Radio Personality, Author. He gained recognition as a Swedish radio man, as well as a lyricist, translator, editor, and author, who had a career as an editor and copywriter from 1948 to 1961. He studied at Stockholm University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1948. Subsequently, he was employed at the Swedish Radio (SR) as producer and scriptwriter. He was behind the popular 1965 radio quiz show "Melodikrysset" (The Melody Cross) after being employed by a host of newspapers. From 1976 to 1991, he ran the show himself and became a popular radio figure to the Swedish people. He also made his name as a host for the radio shows "Gamla skivbekanta" and "Operettdags." He also wrote many lyrics and translated several operetta librettos. As an author, he had 15 books published, with one published posthumously, "Think if old Djurgår could speak" in 2010.
