On Friday, 14th instant, at Spring Hill, Cobb county, the residence of her father, Col. M. Myers, MRS. FRANCES MARIA BRYAN, wife of Maj. Goode Bryan of Alabama, in the 27th year of her age.
She was a lady of cultivated mind and strong intellect, refined manners and tastes, affection in her disposition, wan and devoted in her friendship. Her loss is poignantly felt by her husband, parents, relatives and friends. They will reflect on the virtues which adorned her character, and it will afford consolation to them in their grief - in an assurance that her spirit rests with her God.
