George was born to Henry Herman and Emma Lutz-Graper.
Siblings were: Wilhelimina "Dora" (wife of Augustus Hartwell), John Henry (husband of Ruby Oliver), Bertha Caroline (wife of Dempsy Marshall), Ida (who died in infancy), and Minnie (who died in infancy).
He married Anna G. Stryker on Oct. 5, 1914.
He and Annie had six children born to their union: Myrtle A.(md. Lunsford), Robert Wesley, Emma L. (md.Deal), Elma (md. Marvin O. Arthur), and Ernest Graper.
He was preceeded in death by his son Ernest, who died in WWII and is buried in France and his wife, Anna.
George was a skilled wood worker and a kind, gentle man. He was known for building round barns in the Jennings and surrounding counties.
