Judy Lane Meeks, 59, of
Kannapolis, died Sunday,
Sept. 5, 2004 at her home.
Born Sept. 13, 1944 in Cabarrus
County to Velma
Edgison Stinnett of Kannapolis
and the late John Stinnett,
she retired from Shogren
Hosiery in Concord. She was
a member of Calvary Baptist
Church, where she had been
active in various church activities.
She was married to Howard
Meeks, who survives.
Also surviving are a sister,
Jo Ann May of Thomasville; a
brother, Johnny Stinnett of
Kannapolis; and a number of
nieces and nephews.
A son, Jeffrey Wayne
Meeks, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2
p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept.
8 at Calvary Baptist Church in
Kannapolis with Dr. Dale
Tanner officiating. The body
will lie in state at the church
30 minutes prior to the service
and interment will follow
at Carolina Memorial Park.
