VERONA Lee Earnest “Hed” Brownlee, 33, died Monday, March 12, 2001, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born Jan. 7, 1968, to Lee Earnest Brownlee Sr. and the late Emma Jean Love Brownlee. He attended the Okolona schools and the Manual High School in Indianapolis, Ind. He was an employee of Cooper Tire.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hebron M.B. Church in the Egypt community with the Rev. Earnest Brownlee officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Williams Memorial Funeral Home of Okolona is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Hill Brownlee of Verona; his father, Lee Earnest Brownlee Sr. of Moetria, Ga.; two daughters, Sabrina Brownlee and Lee Andrew Brownlee, both of Verona; three sons, Lee Earnest Brownlee III of Indianapolis, Ind., and Michael Brownlee and Lavantay Brownlee, both of Verona; one sister, Vickie Coleman of Chicago; two brothers, Michael Brownlee of Tupelo and Tony Brownlee of Moultrie, Ga.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today and a wake will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, both at the funeral home.
