Mrs. Edna McCoy, 97, of the Capitol Villa died at 11 p.m. Thursday at her residence.
Mrs. McCoy was born in Rochester, the daughter of John Cross and Naomi Harlan Hayes.
She was a member of the West Side Christian Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Edward O., in 1956; one son, Milton, in 1980; and one grandson.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Cantrall of Springfield; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bisch Memorial Home with the Rev. Charles Lee officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
