Annette Joan Blea Romero died peacefully on February 7, 2015 at home in Mosquero, New Mexico. She was born on March 27, 1962 in Springer, New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her mother Marie Blea and daughter Jessica Marie. She is survived by her husband Joseph Romero, two sons Ricky Valdez (and wife Theresa) and Adonis Montoya (and wife Desiree) all of Raton, New Mexico, father Steve Blea of Amarillo, Texas, two brothers Don Blea (and wife Ruby) of Tucson, Arizona and Michael Blea (and wife Valerie) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two sisters Yvonne Miera of Amarillo, Texas and Julia Marjerison (and husband Leonard) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, four grandkids (Ivan, Alexis, Sienna, and Leilah), and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. After growing up in Mosquero and graduating from Roy High School, Annette lived in several places in New Mexico. She had several jobs including home care for others until she herself had to be taken care of. Wherever she lived, she made many friends. She loved to cook, and she especially loved being around her grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mosquero. Rosary services will be held on February 12, 2015, at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mosquero followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at. 10:30 AM also at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Brasher officiating. Burial will follow at the Mosquero Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pall bearers will be all of Annette's nephews. Honorary pall bearer will be her only niece.
