Joel Carter Wells, 81, of Henderson, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015. He was born April 28, 1933, in Tucson, Ariz. Joel was preceded in death by his wife, of 51 years, Betty Wells. He is survived by his children, Ann Marie Bowerman, Terry Lee Shirley, Joetta Hale and Joel Carter Wells II; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, both at Palm Mortuary-Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. Burial will immediately follow at the Palm Valley
