Juanita May Lanham
Juanita May Lanham 93, of Elkview passed away on October 21, 2013 at Charleston Gardens.
She was a teacher for 33 years with the Kanawha County Schools until her retirement from Big Chimney Elementary.
She was born February 14, 1920 to the late Isham Gillham and Mary Calvert Gillham. She is also preceded in death by her husband Howard O. Lanham and daughter Doris F. Robinson.
She is survived by sons, Wayne Lanham and wife Eloise of Orlando, FL; Michael Lanham and wife Trena of Deatsville, Alabama; Franklin Lanham and wife Rachel of Spangler; Stanley Dale Lanham of Charleston; Joseph Lanham and wife Kathy of Charleston; Dennis Lanham of Dutch Ridge; Daniel Lanham of Elkview.
Daughter Denise Agee and husband Bill of Elkview. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and many friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Hafer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Keeney officiating. A private family burial service will follow in the Lanham Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service at the funeral home.
