Frank was the son of John Heinzman and Mary Gross. He never married nor did he have any children. At the time of the 1880 Census he was working at a mantle factory. The city of Louisville directory for 1883 listed him as being a polisher for Scanlan & Co. By 1894 he was working as a barkeeper for Whitehead & Co. Frank died of pulmonary tuberculosis at the age of 33.
