William Paul Jones age 87, of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Sunday – February 22, 2015.
He was born in Cedar Grove, GA to the late Rufus Scott Jones & Hattie Lou Johnson Jones. He was a lifelong resident of Walker County where he enjoyed farming and raising cattle. He was the former plant manager at Simco and Double R Leather and also worked several years at Big Horn Saddlery all in Chattanooga, TN. He was of the Baptist faith.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Marie Knight Jones, son: Roger Dale Jones, son-in-law: Tim Biddle, siblings: Willis Jones, Sr., Dan Jones, Maurice Jones, Bernard Jones, J.D. Jones, Daphne Jones, Virginia Tudor and Bernice Hinch.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Wednesday morning after 10:00 am until the service. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon - Wednesday – February 25, 2015 in the chapel with Reverend Donnie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Chickamauga Cemetery – Chickamauga, Georgia.
