KUONEN, Beatrice Rose (Age 89) Beatrice Rose Kuonen passed away on February 21, 2015. She was born in Spokane, WA on November 8, 1925 to William and Margaret McConahy. She lived in the Foothills area all her life, graduating from West Valley High School in 1943. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil; her brothers Fred and Bud; her grandson Nathan; and her daughter Sharon. She is survived by her sons Bob and Kent; her siblings, Marge, Betty and George; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2 - 6pm at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10am at Hazen and Jaeger Valley, 1306 North Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA. Burial will follow at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery, 9303 E. Morgan Road, Spokane, WA. In lieu of donations or flowers, the family asks that you do a kind act for somebody such as plant some flowers or a tree. Whatever the act is, do it in memory of Bea and know that she is smiling because of it.
