Mr. Hugghins, a native of Alabama, had resided near Corsicana since 1920. Before going to that section, he had resided in Cherokee county since he was six years of age.
Surviving are ten children: Lester Hugghins, Malone; J.R. Hugghins, Palestine; O.H. Hugghins, Corsicana; B.B. Hugghins, Houston; E.D. Hugghins, Corsicana; Mrs. Ruby Parker, Waco; Forest DeWitt Hugghins, Lamesa; Mrs. Gertrude Osment, Hubbard; J.T. Hugghins, Malone; and Miss Irene Hugghins, Corsicana; seven grandchildren; two brothers: Joe Hugghins, Athens, and Oscar Hugghins, Rusk; a sister, Mrs. Martha Dismuke, Palestine and a number of nieces and nephews.
