Mrs Violet Ada Holladay, 202 Reece Avenue West, died July 14 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Funeral was held Friday from Henderson's Funeral Chapel. Rev. R. H. Stewart officiating. Interment was in the Anglican Cemetery.
Mrs. Holladay was born in Bury, Quebec and had lived in this district for 33 years. She was a member of the IODE. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick James Holladay in 1938.
Among Mrs. Holladay's survivors are three sisters, Mrs. F. A. Goeltz, Salt Lake; Mrs. W. J. Montgomery, Pendicton and Mrs. R. H. Martindale, Sudbury.
Pallbearers were L. Higginson, David Rutley, Fred Snow and Cliff Brown.
