Funeral services for Everett J. Anderson, 51, of 77 W. 1950 S., Bountiful, who died in a Salt Lake hospital Thursday of a heart attack, will be announced by Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary.
Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 10, 1916 in Central, ID, a son of John and Sophia Bjorklund Anderson. He married Marie Williams in January 1946, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
He was a dispatcher for Utah Power and Light, and had worked for them since 1938 in Grace, ID, and Salt Lake [City, UT].
He had been a member of the Lions' club, American Legion, and Toastmasters; and a member of the Old Timers club, Utah Power and Light.
An elder in the Bountiful 11th LDS ward, he had been in the elders' quorum presidency; was stake dance director and ward YMMIA superintendent. He was a veteran of World War II, serving on a navy torpedo boat in the South Pacific.
Surviving him are his wife, son, daughters, brothers, and a sister [names deleted].
