Hartig - Suddenly on Thursday, June 15, 1922, Emma L. Mielenhausen, beloved wife of Henry J. Hartig and dear mother of Mrs. William Kopf and Henry W., Clarence P., Viola E. and Irving O. Hartig, aged 63 years. Services at her late residence, 1469 East 9th. st., near Ave. O, Brooklyn, on Sunday, June 18, at 5 p.m. Interment Lutheran Cemetery.

Emma Hartig, born in Philadelphia, sixty-three years ago and for many years a resident of Brooklyn, died Thursday at her home, 1469 East Ninth street. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Advent, Valley Forge Council, Daughters of Liberty and several other societies. She is survived by her husband, Henry J.; two daughters, Viola and Mrs. William Kopf, and three sons, Irving, Henry, and Frederick. The funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. tomorrow and interment Monday will be at Lutheran Cemetery.

(Daughter, Viola Eva Hartig, married Louis Lawrence Pollice, in 1924, however, both died in 1934.)

(Son, Henry William Hartig married Lillian Rudolph, in 1908.)
