She was a retired teacher in the Central Dauphin School District and a former teacher and basketball coach in the Philipsburg School District; was a graduate of Otterbein College in Ohio; and a member of Paxton Presbyterian Church, Paxtang.
She was the widow of James W. Runk Sr. Surviving are two daughters, Kay Bonney of Newtown Square and Barbara Brown of Sherman, Texas; a son, James W. Jr. of Paxtang; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in her church. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Philipsburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9: 30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
