Funeral services will be at 10:30 am today in St. Mark's Lutheran Church for George H. Vignes, 61, of 506 Grant. The Rev. Arnold P. Moedo, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Seaside Memorial Park under the direction of Kenne & Carter Funeral Home. Vignes died at 2:05 am yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.
A Corpus Christi resident for 34 years, he was terminal superintendent of Southwestern Oil and Refining Co. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Aebi of Sulphur, La., and Miss Patsy Vignes of Corpus Christi; a sister, Mrs Emma Dixon of San Antonio; two brothers, Alfred Vignes of San Antonio and Earnest Vignes of Corpus Christi. Pall Bearers will be Louis Range, Walter Jansen, Herbert Sager, J. W. Harlien, Allen Haucks and Walter Hicks.
