Wichita -- Albert J. Weber, 56, Russell, died Saturday, Aug. 18 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born Feb. 24, 1923 in Victoria, the son of John and Rose (Dreiling) Weber.

He worked for the water department at Russell. Memberships VFW & American Legion, Russell.

He was married to JoAnn Basgall in 1949 at LaCrosse.

Survivors his wife of the home; two sons, Gary of Ellsworth and Francis of Russell; one daughter, Dennis (Dianne) Wacker of Loveland, Colo.; one brother, Herman of Victoria; three sisters, Mrs. Otto (Blanche) Windholz and Mrs. Gilbert (Alma) Billinger, both of Victoria, and Mrs. Gilbert (Tillie) Bollig of Clayton; and two grandchildren.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Russell. Burial was in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria. Military honors were conducted at the grave site.
