Thomaston, Dec. 7.—Mrs. Inez Bernice Whitehill, 71, wife of Harrison Whitehill, died today at her West Main Street home.

She was born in Warren, April 1, 1878, daughter of Alexander and Jane Harrison Jones. She was a member of the Goodwill Grange, South Warren.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Harold W., Rockland, and Norman O., Thomaston; four daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Hunt, Rockland, and Mrs. Martha Wilson, Mrs. Joyce Adams and Miss Florence Whitehill, all of Thomaston; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Russell, Arlington Heights, Mass.; Mrs. Elizabeth Oakes, Union, and Miss Martha Jones, Thomaston.

Funeral services will be held from the Davis Funeral Home here at 2 p. m. Sunday. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Hubert Leach and Forest Stowell of Ridlonville. Internment will be in Pleasantville Cemetery. (Portland Press Herald, Dec. 8, p. 21)
