Leo S. Churchill, age 69, of Berger, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at his home.

Mr. Churchill was born in Leslie, Missouri on February 17, 1938, the son of the late Charles Churchill and Vera (Helling) Hadley.

He was united in marriage to Joyce (Surface) Churchill on July 3, 1981 at the Gasconade Union Church in Gasconade, Missouri, she survives at their home in Berger.

He is also survived by seven children, son Michael Churchill of Detmold, Missouri; daughter Connie Lietzow & husband Troy of Hermann, Missouri; son Stanley Churchill of Detmold, Missouri; son Brian Churchill & fiance Christie Jackson of Montgomery City, Missouri; daughter Anna Fruits of Fenton, Missouri; daughter Theresa Brautigam & husband Calvin of Hermann, Missouri; and son Thad Fruits & wife Crystal of Union, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Gary Wayne Churchill and a brother Harvey Churchill.

He was a member of Gasconade Union Church, Gasconade, Missouri.

He worked for MKT Railroad for 17 years, on sections from Baden yards, St. Louis to Fort Scott Kansas. He was a custodian at Gasconade Co. R-1 schools and he also worked for Handi-Pac in Hermann as a night foreman for several years.

Funeral Services will be held at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13th, with Rev. Lonnie Webb & Ralph Meredith officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri.

Burial will be in the Laubinger Family Cemetery, Leslie, Missouri.
