Aunt George was born in Obion, Tennessee in 1847 and moved to Missouri with the family in 1859. She never married though there have been stories to indicate she was engaged but he died before the marriage took place. She remained with her Mother until her death and there after lived with her Sister and then her nephew. She would travel with him and his children after the death of his wife. While traveling with him in 1928, she took sick in Fort Worth, Texas and was placed in a hospital there. At that time the nephew who had no money contacted her Brother James who traveled with his son, Ben to Texas on the Train. They claimed the body, paid the Bills and returned her to Wishart, Polk, Missouri where she was buried in the Cemetery in an unmarked grave.
