Chikosolu Chiamaka "Kosolu" Ughanze, 20, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 in Cherokee County, Texas. Kosolu was born in Houston, Texas on August 22, 1994 to Matthew and Amaka Onyemalu Ughanze. She was living in Nachodoches, Texas attending Stephen F. Austin State University as a nursing major and member of the African Student Association. Kosolu is survived by her parents and many other loving family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Road, Houston, Texas 77072. A Committal service will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer, Houston, Texas 77077.

Two SFA students have died in a Cherokee county wreck on Monday afternoon.

According to the President of SFA's African Student Organization, Quidus Olatunde Jacobs, 22, and Chikosolu Chiamaka Ughaze, 20, both of Nacogdoches, died in a wreck in Cherokee county.

A vigil will be held in memory of the two students at SFA's campus near the SFA statue at 7:30 p.m.

According to the DPS report Osteen, 29, of Troup, was driving north on Highway 110 when he collided with Jacobs, who had stopped at the intersection on Highway 204 but did not yield the right-of-way and pulled in front of Osteen.

Jacobs was taken to a Tyler hospital, where he later died. Ughanze died at the scene. Osteen was treated and released from a Tyler hospital.
