Qudus Olatunde Jacobs was born on October 10, 1992 in Nigeria to Mr. Lookman Jacobs and Madam Aina Agidigibi. At age nine, Qudus left his mother behind and relocated to the United States to build a better life and continue his education in order to accomplish his dreams in sport marketing business. He has since been living with his parents Mr. Lookman and Linda Jacobs; his sisters Jessica and Chasiti; his brothers Elliott, Farrukh and Lookman Jr. He was baptized at an early age under the leadership of Pastor C. L. Wright and became a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Shiloh M B C Choir.
Qudus graduated from Elisk High School in Houston, TX in 2011. He then pursued his professional marketing dreams by attending SFA State University in Nacogdoches, TX where he was scheduled to graduate in May 2015. He was the Vice President of membership for the SFA Chapter of the American Marketing Association. He was also an active member in the American Student Organization. He passionately enjoyed music and all sporting activities most especially basketball.
Qudus was a stunning positive role model to everybody around him. He is respectful, well-mannered, very caring, kind hearted and generous with great personality. Qudus loved life and he lived it to the fullest with every given opportunity.
However, with regrets and sadness, Qudus suddenly departed from this world on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the tender age of 22. He was preceded in death by grandparents, uncles and aunts. He is survived by his parents Lookmand & Linda Jacobs and Aina Agidigbi; his siblings ~ Elliott, Jessica, Chastiti, Lookman, Jr., Farrukh, Ajoke, Afis, Bidemi and Tosin and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
The world will be dimmer without his smile and great sense of humor. We love you, but God loves you the most. Your memories will always be cherished and you will forever be missed.

Two SFA students have died in a Cherokee county wreck on Monday afternoon.

According to the President of SFA's African Student Organization, Quidus Olatunde Jacobs, 22, and Chikosolu Chiamaka Ughaze, 20, both of Nacogdoches, died in a wreck in Cherokee county.

A vigil will be held in memory of the two students at SFA's campus near the SFA statue at 7:30 p.m.

According to the DPS report Osteen, 29, of Troup, was driving north on Highway 110 when he collided with Jacobs, who had stopped at the intersection on Highway 204 but did not yield the right-of-way and pulled in front of Osteen.

Jacobs was taken to a Tyler hospital, where he later died. Ughanze died at the scene. Osteen was treated and released from a Tyler hospital
