MRS. VIVIAN ENFIELD
Mrs. Vivian Enfield, 81, RFD 5, died Saturday afternoon at Trinity Regional Hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, RFD 5, with Elder Elbert Jordison officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Gunderson Funeral Home.
Surviving are a son, Bruce Ballard, Fort Dodge; stepsons, Merle Enfield, Fort Dodge, and Ronald Enfield; stepdaughter, Mrs. Wayne (Marjorie) Vath, Mason City; one grandchild and five step-grandchildren.
Vivian Clevenger was born in Ladora and attended school there. She graduated from high school in 1923. She attended Simpson College, Indianola. In 1924, she married Bruce Ballard in Colorado and the couple made their home there. They later moved to Indianola. In 1938 the couple moved to Fort Dodge and she was employed at the Morning Glory Dairy Bar from 1945 to 1947 when she became employed at Pfaff Baking Company, Fort Dodge. He died in 1949.
She married Clifford Enfield in 1959 at Coalville. She retired in 1969. He died in 1974.
