Doris was a graduate of West Chester University of PA, taught music in the public schools of Smithtown, NY and taught piano lessons in Wellesley. Member of the P.E.O, Wellesley Garden Club, and Nehoiden Golf Club of Wellesley. She was a supporter of Wellesley Symphony Orchestra, was very generous in sharing her musical talents at North Hill, and was an avid bridge player.
