Funeral services for A M Appleby of Minneapolis will be held this afternoon at 2:00 at the Rass Funeral Home. Ward Winton will officiate and the Masons will be in charge. Burial will be in Shell Lake cemetery.
A former resident of Shell Lake, Mr Appleby died at his home in Minneapolis, April 1 at the age of 65. He was born in Boscobel and lived in Shell Lake from 1918 to 1931. On November 28, 1899, he was married to Virginia Johnson at Boscobel.
Surviving are his wife; 2 daughters, Mrs Kenneth Hoar of Shell Lake and Hazel of Minneapolis; 3 sons, Donald and Lloyd of Janesville, WI, and James of Minneapolis; 3 brothers, Frank, Springerton, IL; Fay, Winter, WI; Lester of Lancaster, WI; and one sister Mrs. Edith Waters, Sparta, WI, 7 grandchildren.
