Obituary; Mr Jackie Roe Compton, age 61 of Knoxville, formerly of Oakdale passed away at his home Tuesday May 2, 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents Van Roe and Verna Grant Compton; children, Jackie Compton, Melissa Compton, Terry Compton and brother John Zumstein.
Surviving are children, Michael Compton, Tonya Martinez, Wendell Compton, Joyce Acker and Angel Martinez.
Grandchildren, Anthony Compton, Steven Smith, Melissa Compton, Richard Smith, Lynsay Compton, Victoria Chesser, Jessica Compton, Lesley Archer and Maria Martinez.
Several brothers, sisters, Nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday May 5, 2006 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Bro. Lynn Galyon officiating. Interment will follow in the Crab Orchard Cemetery. Schubert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
