Linda Kay Allman Peek, 66, of Putney, GA, died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Putney. Rev. Tabb Howell and Rev. Jamie Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow at Salem Seminole Cemetery in Desser, GA at 3:00 pm.

Born in Donalsonville, GA to the late L. Burns and Dorothy Allman, Linda graduated from Dougherty High School in 1966. She would later receive her Nursing Degree from Albany Junior College now Darton College. She was formerly employed with Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA, she was a former instructor at Georgia Southwestern College and helped form and was the Director of Nursing at Lee Medical Arts which would later become Albany Area Primary Health Care. She was also a former instructor at Albany Technical College. She was preceded in death by a sister Beverly C. Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Dewayne Peek of Putney, GA, a daughter, Catrena Reid of Milwaukee, WI, three sister Alethea Gray of TX, Ruth McCranie, and Paula Goldben both of Thomasville, GA, a brother, Eric Allman of Rome, GA.
